And do you think that this show captured the spirit of the original series ?:)

Thoughts ?:)

The only episode I remember well was the one with Richard Thomas as a guy who experiments with nanotechnology and he creates these micro-robots that protect and can enhance a person's body from harm--and he injects himself with them--but they decided that he would be better off with an extra eye behind his head and when he starts to contemplate suicide they give him two more hearts and reinforce his rib cage so he can't shoot himself.
But overall--like the 80s Twilight Zone, the show felt too modern. I don't think they overshadow the originals.

I remember that episode , it a doozy !

Watched this some years ago on Youtube; at least most of the episodes. My comment from years ago:

A few good episodes, a lot of so-so ones with simple plots, some really lousy episodes, and a heck of a lot of clips shows.

A very mixed bag, as are most anthology series. When they adapted stories from real SF writers, they did pretty well. "Sandkings" (George R. R. Martin), "The Human Operators" (Harlan Ellison and A. E. Van Vogt), "Think Like a Dinosaur" (James Patrick Kelly), maybe some others.

Shooting in Canada didn't help.
Because the original series used a lot of deserts and you don't have that in British Columbia.
Same with the X-Files--one advantage of the move to California is that it allowed for more Area 51 kind of locations. The original series was limited to a quasi-Middle America greyish locations. Although it was fine that they went back to it for the second feature film. The sunny bright look didn't always suit the series.
